Parkinson is a disease that has many symptoms. It is difficult to discuss all of them with the doctor on the day of the consultation. In addition, patients are usually subjective when they tell this information. With i4park we give a solution to this problem. The i4park application will ask you frequently about symptoms and, with simple questionnaires, will follow up. With all the data, treated with artificial intelligence, a report will be prepared for your doctor.

i4park is based on clinical practice and universal protocols for monitoring those affected by Parkinsons disease. The app, born in 2016, has been tested in a clinical research project with patients and neurologists from the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA). During the pilot experiment, formal and functional improvements were detected, which have been implemented and have allowed us to achieve a product very adapted to the user.

The selection of the contents arises from the collaboration between i4life, neurologists, patients, family members and associations. At all times the criterion of neurologists has prevailed over the rest, in order to obtain a useful tool that fits the strict requirements of their clinical practice.



In terms of accessibility, i4park complies with the Principles of Universal Design as well as the accessibility standards and recommendations for reference. It has a font size and icons that facilitate its reading, handling and comprehension, a consequence of the application of easy reading protocols. After an exhaustive analysis, it can be concluded that there are no risks or adverse effects associated with the use of this app that, however, significantly facilitates the life of those affected by Parkinsons disease. Of course, the use of i4park does not replace the doctor-patient relationship, but rather enriches and improves the communication of more reliable data on the patients health status. To access the functionalities of the application, a user registration is required. The personal data are collected by i4park for the correct preparation of the reports and the personalization of the treatments and will be transferred, exclusively by the user, to his doctor and / or caregiver. i4life will not transfer the data of its users to third parties. It is recommended to connect to a Wi-Fi network before carrying out a voluminous upload / download of information, so we recommend downloading the app when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
